What can I bring to the event?

All of The CreATEery's adult-only cake decorating events are BYOB! Bring your preferred drink of choice. You must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcohol at The CreATEery's events. 

You can also bring snacks and food to eat during the event. Small snacks are preferred, as you will need 98% of the space at your table for CreATEing! 

Can I bring someone that's not participating with me to an event?

No extra guests are allowed at an event, including children. Each CreATEer should have a ticket to participate in the event. Cakes may not be shared between two or more people for decorating. We want to ensure that each guest has the space required to decorate and receive instruction.

How early can I arrive to an event?

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled event, and no sooner. Because we are a pop-up, we want to make sure the event space is fully ready before you enter.

What if I am late to the event?

We extend a 10 minute grace period for each event. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to get comfortable and set up your space. If you are 15 minutes or more late to the event, we cannot guarantee that you will catch up to the other CreATEers at the event. The CreATEery cannot guarantee one-on-one help at a public event. 

Low Participation Policy

Low turnout may result in cancellation of the event. In the event of cancellation due to low turnout, you may have your ticket refunded or moved toward a future event. Guests will be notified in advance if an event is cancelled. 

Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued after ticket purchase unless the event is cancelled by The CreATEery due to low turnout or other unforeseen circumstances.

Can my child participate in an event?

Yes! All events are kid-friendly unless "adult-only" is specified in the event details. Kids must be 4 years or older for cupcake events, or 8 years or older to participate in cake events. Remember, each participant must have their own ticket at an event.

What is the deposit for a private event?

For private events, your deposit is 30% of the total and is due upon booking. The remaining balance for your event is due one week before the scheduled date. 

You do have the option of transferring your deposit to another date for a $25 fee. 

Event Waiver

All public events require the signing of the waiver and release form here. You may fill it out in advance or at the event.

For private events, upon payment of the final invoice, you acknowledge and agree to the contents of the waiver and release form.
